I’ve secured a place to talk at Agile on the Beach on 5-6 September. This 2-day conference, hosted in Falmouth, comprises 30 UK and International agile speakers and brings together 200 people to explore, evolve and find out what it means to be truly agile and lean in business; from its culture to product development practices. Oh, and there’s a networking party on the beach.
The conference explores three strands of agile adoption: Software Craftsmanship, Business Strategy and Teams. As well as me, the speakers include:
- Gabriel Steinhardt, an internationally-recognised technology product management expert
- Judith Andresen, a project coach with the infallible intuition to know what is blocking an IT project
- Belinda Waldock, of Oxford Innovation, who will be sharing insights into the broader adoption of agile through the Grow Cornwall programme
- Mark Craddock, who looks after the UK Government’s G-Cloud and will be exploring G-Cloud and the new CloudStore
- Romilly Cocking, who runs hardware vendor Quick2Wire and was coaxed out of retirment to work on the Rasberry Pi
- Ewan Milne, who has over 20 years experience in the software development industry, currently working for IPL in Bath
- Rachel Davies, “Co-author of “”Agile Coaching” who works at Unruly Media in London
- André Tanguy, one of the co-founders of web consultancy and online software provider Oceans HQ, who will explore Selling Agile to Enterprise Customers
- Toby Parkins & John Thornton, from UKNetWeb
