Substitution

What is a substitute?

A substitute is when you send someone else in your place to complete a role. It is temporary cover for your position.

It’s particularly useful when you go on holiday or need to take some leave.

What will you do?

That’s up to you.

If you have something specific that you’d like us to tackle while you’re away, then tell us. Maybe you would like us to run a Sprint Retrospective or a kick-off for a new project?

Alternatively, we can suggest how we might best use the time: how about a review of your team’s agile practices? Or some training on Kanban or estimating?

How does it work?

Step 1: You contact us using the form below (feel free to include any relevant information, such as location, preferred dates, type of work required)

Step 2: We discuss the requirements with you (and agree a fee)

Step 3: You sign Scrum & Kanban’s standard substitution agreement (we also sign it and return a copy to you)

Step 4: Our expert turns up in your place

Step 5: Scrum and Kanban invoices you

Step 6: You pay the invoice within 14 days

Please note that there will be an additional charge if you wish to use anything other than our standard agreement.
