Understand and apply an agile framework for project management – Scrum. This course allows attendees to gain an appreciation of the Scrum framework and how to apply it in their own context. Through games, hands-on practice and project simulations, you’ll be armed with the knowledge of how to use Scrum on a day-to-day basis. This course is aimed at all members of a Scrum team, as well as managers and execs wanting to know more about this popular approach.
For attendees wishing to obtain certification following the course, we recommend the PSM I certificate (Professional Scrum Master from scrum.org) and will explain the process at the end of day 2. There is an additional cost of $150 for the PSM I assessment.
The course will be held in the stunning Howbery Park, Oxfordshire.
Howbery Park is a 90-acre business campus located on the River Thames in south Oxfordshire (between Reading and Oxford). There is ample free parking.
Breakfast and lunch, as well as morning and afternoon refreshments, for both days is all included in the course price.

This course is aimed at anyone who wants to know more about agile and Scrum. Knowledge on how to use Scrum is particularly important to those involved in web development, software engineering and business development, but it isn’t limited to the tech industry and is now being used in many industries.

Is there an exam?You do not have to take an exam following the course. However, for any attendees wishing to obtain certification following the course, we recommend the PSM I certificate (Professional Scrum Master from scrum.org) and will explain the process at the end of day 2. There is an additional cost of $150 for the PSM I assessment. The test comprises 80 questions (multiple choice, multiple answer and true/false) which must be completed within 60 minutes. A pass mark is 85%.
What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?The venue is located between Reading and Oxford off the B4009. It is 23 minutes from junction 6 of the M40, 30 minutes from Oxford and 30 minutes from Reading. Complimentary car parking is provided. For those travelling by train, Howbery Park is 12 minutes drive from Didcot Parkway station. The estimated cost for a taxi from the train station is £21-25.
Is my ticket refundable or transferrable?Yes. We will issue a full refund if you cancel your booking 14 days before the course starts. However, cancellation (or no-show at the event) after this time will result in you being charged the full amount due. We will be happy for you to transfer your ticket to another person but, should they cancel or not attend the course, the full amount is due.
